We're getting hitched!

Andra and Jamie couldn't be more happy to tie the knot, and we'd love to celebrate with you. We hope you'll join us in Seattle on July 16th!

Our Story:

By their own paths from Ohio and Nebraska, Jamie and Andra each found themselves in Seattle at the start of a momentous 2020. From their first moments sharing a table together in February 2020, it was clear there was a spark in the air.

Within two weeks of meeting, the world got a little crazy, but a pandemic couldn't stop the two from falling head over heels, and in fact it may have helped them on their way. As the world grew quiet, these two introverts created a new space between them — carved out of delightfully aimless car trips around Puget Sound, silly crafting sessions where Andra taught Jamie to sew, pottery classes, and movie marathons with Andra's cat Pigeon sharing the couch.

In those early quiet days and through til today, Andra and Jamie grow closer in their creativity and their visions of building together: small home goods, fun textile projects, and now a home in Portage Bay.

As the world has re-opened they've cherished the opportunity to get to know each other's family in Nebraska and Oregon; as well as so many friends in Cincinnati, New York, and elsewhere. They're so excited to bring so many of those beloved people together to celebrate their marriage!

What else should I know?

Bring a photo! We'd love it if you brought a photo of you with either Jamie or Andra to the Saturday welcome party!

Attire ~ The Saturday welcome party will be casual, but there will be a photographer so love what you're wearing! For the wedding on Sunday we suggest we cocktail attire.

Children ~
Although we love your little ones, due to limited venue space the wedding ceremony and reception on Sunday are an adult-only affair. We're happy to help find child care! All are welcome to the welcome party on Saturday and any other get togethers!

Lodging ~
Check out our City Guide.

Transporation ~ For the wedding on July 16th, we will provide shuttles from the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Seattle (map) to the venue. Shuttles will leave promptly at 5:15 p.m. There will be two departure times to return from the reception. If you are driving yourself on Sunday, we expect it will be easier to approach from the east (from NE 145th Place) due to possible traffic caused by weekend winery events in the area.

For the Saturday welcome party, our home (map) is an easy Uber- or Lyft-ride from anywhere in Seattle.

Registry ~ Visit our registry at Zola.com or, if you prefer, make a donation to Planned Parenthood or the Washington Trails Association.
